Just in time for OU's African American Celebration Month, the Medical Library is pleased to host the National Library of Medicine traveling exhibit: "Binding Wounds, Pushing Boundaries: African Americans in Civil War Medicine." The exhibit chronicles the lives and contributions of African American men and women who served as surgeons, nurses, and other health care professionals during the Civil War.
