These applications have been added to assist our students in their education by using virtual reality to learn. review and quiz their knowledge. We are adding new apps as they become available for the Quest 2. Requests for new apps can be made through our office.
Human Anatomy can be done seated or standing. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Human Anatomy VR. After entering, if you are new to the app, make sure you select Tutorial to learn how it works. After completing the tutorial, select Start.
Supports AFCP 1 and 2, USMLE Step 1
Auscultation Training can be done seated or standing. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Auscultation Training Pro. Grab the stethascope to start and select heart or respiratory sounds. Select a pathology to compare sounds

Awake ECG can be done seated or standing. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Awake ECG. After entering, if you are new to the app, select onboarding to get oriented. Afterward, select the process you would like to review.

Awake Heart can be done seated or standing. Go on a journey through the human heart through the lens of anatomy, physiology and electrical activity. Select Onboarding to get oriented.

Youtube VR can be done seated or standing. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Youtube VR. We have curated immersive medical videos in playlists for you, but you can also search for videos more specific to what you are looking for by using the search feature

CPR Simulator should be done standing and kneeling. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see CPR simulator. After entering, select your experience and patient and begin practicing.

Beat Saber is an active game where you try to hit cubes in the indicated direction with sticks, you need enough space where swinging your arms won't hit anything, we recommend the reflection room on the 4th floor. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Beat Saber, select Solo if practicing or Party if you want to compete against friends. See if you can beat the librarian high scores!

PowerBeatsVR is an active game where you box targets, you need enough space where swinging your arms won't hit anything, we recommend the reflection room on the 4th floor. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see PowerBeatsVR, select a song to get moving

Vertical Shift is an active game where fly through arenas playing freezetag, you need ample space, we recommend the reflection room on the 4th floor. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Beat Saber, select Solo and pick a song

I expect you to die is an escape room game, you can be seated or standing. Select your mission and try not to get into trouble. Hint: You can manipulate things farther away using your joystick.

Maloka is a meditation app, you can do it sitting or standing, we recommend the reflection room on the 4th floor for comfort, but it can be done anywhere. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Maloka, select a meditation and get gifts for your island after you complete the meditation

Ghost VRSE II lets you do a spinal surgery with the Ghost VRSE II medical device. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Ghost VRSE, look at your wrist to start a surgery

Oxford Medical Simulation lets you get familiar with an Emergency Room, it can be done seated or standing. It can take some time to go through, but is pretty comprehensive. Go to apps by pressing the oculus button and scroll until you see Oxford Medical Simulation and let the nurse guide you in treating a patient.
