Kresge Library, including all Medical Library spaces, reopened to OU affiliates on Monday, August 17 at 7:30am. Building capacities will be monitored by all visitors swiping their OU ID card upon entering and are expected to follow university COVID-19 policies while in the building. For Medical Library-specific information, see our email update. The Medical Library will primarily maintain virtual services to students, faculty, and staff via email and online web meetings.
We now subscribe to VisualDx, an image-based clinical support tool with integrated point-of-care information. This tool can be used for patient care and study in identifying visually identifiable diseases including dermatologic, infectious, genetic, metabolic, drug-induced conditions, and occupational injuries. More than 28% of the images are of skin types IV, V, and VI.
As part of its phased reopening plan, Kresge Library is now able to offer expanded services and access to collections to the campus.
