What is your view of scholarship? Ernest L. Boyer (1990) enlarged the perspective about scholarship including four forms/categories: scholarship of discovery, scholarship of integration, scholarship of application, and scholarship of teaching. In this brown bag session, we'll discuss scholarship of integration--research synthesis. Systematic review will be introduced as one type of research with an explicit and rigorous research methodology. Differences between systematic review and other types of literature review will be examined as well.
